JUST IN CASE

“Some may say I’m no good of a friend Some may say they’re things better left unsaid And I will say tell me the truth, I wish to know.” A.J

Just in case I forgot to call
Remember, I’m a human wandering on a lost path
Just in case I forgot to call
Remember old friend I’m on a lonely path
My eyes are close, my ears hear no more
But my love waits patiently at your door
If you need help, I will be there
Time is no longer my friend; it has forced me to move on
Go on and leave the old me behind
Discover the me that no one else will find
So just in case, I forgot to call
My phone number lays awake in your contact you are free to call
I will answer, but I won’t call
This is my note to you
Some may say I’m no good of a friend
Some may say they’re things better left unsaid
And I will say tell me the truth, I wish to know
Now that I have written these unspoken words
Tomorrow is a day that no man is promising to know
So, if I make you feel out of place let me know
