The new year

31 of December
The clock strikes 12 o’clock, and it’s a new year
Some of us were celebrating
Some of us were in tears
Some of us drop to our knees to pray
Thanking the heavenly father, we have made it to another year
Many have set new goals,
While other sit in the moment,
The Last two years have been more of a lead than a feather
Family’s hearts ripped to pieces in the last moment.
Families were fighting just to get together
Let’s be honest, living in a pandemic isn’t easy at all
So I wish 2022 brings us a better start.

Happy new year

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!
