Ones we miss

“Ther is always that one person we miss.”

We wanted more than we could give
So we took our hearts out
And replaced it with our skin
Took our brains out
And replaced it with a kiss
Trying to fill the void
Of the ones we miss

John 16:22

22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

Don’t be a pessimist be an optimist

I am only human

“It’s ok to make mistakes.”

I am only human.
I make mistakes as everyone can.
I don’t always feel good.
Sometimes I feel misunderstood.
I have my good days and my bad ones.
At times I feel numb.
I get frustrated when it doesn’t work,
Then I feel dumb.
Sometimes I feel out of place,
Like I don’t belong and I was a mistake.
I get insecure,
When I am around strangers.
It takes time for me to get comfortable around humans, yet my ability to trust them is weak.
Sometimes I wonder if they can read me.
What if they see all my dirty laundry?
What if I say something wrong when I speak,
So I rather not speak.
I stammer whenever I try to speak.
I fake my confidence.
I space out just to not have to feel.
I am only human, but not many are like me.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Don’t be a pessimist be an optimist
